Minutes from June 10th, 2010 Meeting
Meeting called to order by President Steve Stillwell at 7:10 pm.
Sergeant-At-Arms Rich Miller read roll call: 29 Members, 4 guests. Prospective Members: 0. John Gilbert, Lloyd, Joseph, and Sr. Lloyd were our guest. Lloyd and his grandsons have been working on there truck for 6 years and are ¾ of the way done.
Treasurers Report:
Treasurer Dianne Hamano gave a Treasurers Report.
Secretary:
Larry Lopez read the minutes and they were approved.
Committee Reports:
Safety:
Rudy talked about the workshop they had on removing the steering wheel from Abe’s truck. They tried pullers, big hammers and in the end they had to use heat to remove it.
National Council: Next meeting is August 1.

North/South:
No updates.
Public Relations/Activities:
This Saturday is the Fountain Valley Car Show, they will need help with parking. If you’re going to help, be there by 6:15am for meeting. This Sunday is San Diego’s show. There is a group leaving Toms Place in Anaheim at 6:30am. The Moon Eyes show is on July 18, if you haven’t registered yet, do it. If you were going to sign up for the Seal Beach show, you need to turn in your money and fill out a form tonight.
Chris talked about the BS Industries show, there about 35 to 40 cars. He also found that the area was surrounded by many junk yards. Him and Dusty went out and found some treasures. Also mentioned was the Run to the Sun.
Western Nationals:
Ed passed out an assignments sheet with everyone’s duties. We have some trucks from Ohio, Arizona, and Utah coming. Last years truck of the year will be back. We will be cleaning house by selling our old event tee shirts, dash plaques. Anaheim Fire Department will be there. The FTE group will be doing top truck judging. Ed also read off a list of thing we needed, easy ups, extension cords and water for the participants. Right now it looks like Dan Dorsey will be supplying easy ups and water is being donated. For those who had signed up, Ed passed out the registration cards. Friday’s cruise will be to Surf City Garage, down town Seal Beach and end up at John Force Racing. Dinner will be at El Torito. We will meet at the park at 6a.m.

Old Business:
- Copy rights for our art work are still going good.
- New tee shirts will be here before the Western National show.
New Business:
- Birthdays for June; Glenn, Julie, and Donna.
