I was an Illustrator
"How did you find out about the club?"
A friend Joe Eddy (Later to become a PUL member of San Gabriel) asked me to join him at a meeting of PUL. At that time the club met at Sunset Ford. There were about 12 to 14 members present.

"What positions have you held in the club Tom?"
The first was as Treasurer in 1976. I also was Treasurer other times as well. I also was Sergeant-At-Arms in 2003.
" What did you feel were some of the Best or Favorite Truck Events Attended?"
1) The North South Run in 1970. There were 14 of us from the South and 12 from the North, representing the F-100 Elites.
2)The Pickup Roundup at Escape Country in 1976. We gave away a fixed up 1956 F-100 as a raffle prize. It was called the “Spirit of 1976”.
3) Another favorite event was the Autorama’s at the Anaheim and Los Angeles Convention Center from 1977 to 1983.
4)One year in the early 1970’s we had Christmas Party at the Grand Hotel. I remember the weather got real bad and the wind blew out windows and the elevator got stuck. We still had fun.

" What was one of your favorite memories about another member in the club?"
One of our members who became president, Bob Busick had trouble keeping the trucks on 4 wheels. He rolled two F100’s at different times. He earned the nickname “Captain Crunch”
